Beyond the day-to-day life of the shop, 8lithèque offers a few other services. If you'd like to see your book on our shelves, we welcome your submission. Outside opening hours, the space is available to hire. And for readers of Chinese-language books, we offer memberships built specifically around them, with member pricing, as well as a second-hand book borrowing service.

Member Benefits
Our book submission channel is now open. We warmly invite book creators from around the world to submit their work. Together, we hope to bring these books to as many readers as possible.
If you would like to submit your book(s) for consideration for sale at our bookstore, please send us an email at 8litheque@gmail.com with the following information: artist/author, title, description, images, and price.
We will review your submission and get back to you soon.
Please note that we currently only accept book submissions. Submissions of other types of products are not accepted at this time. And in-person consultations at the bookstore are available by appointment only.
Our space is available for events, outside regular opening hours, with a capacity of up to 40 seated guests and approximately 50 m² of event space. It can accommodate a variety of cultural and creative events, including salons, workshops, film screenings, concerts, and more.
The space is generally available Tuesday to Sunday, from 7:30 PM to 11:30 PM. Ticketing services can also be provided upon request. Outside food and beverages are not permitted.
If you would like to rent the space, please email us at 8litheque@gmail.com with the following information: organizer’s name (individual, association, or organization), a description of the event, preferred date and duration, expected number of attendees, and whether you require ticketing services. We will get back to you as soon as possible with a quotation and details of the collaboration.
Please note that Off-Hours Space Rental covers the use of the space only. Media and promotional services are not included, and event organizers are responsible for the content of their events.
For readers of Chinese-language books, we also offer three different types of membership, with benefits including special member pricing, free access to our second-hand book borrowing service, and selected book club activities.
As our Chinese-language books are currently available in-store only, please feel free to ask us in the shop about the different membership options and their terms and conditions.
