影片介绍：

冬至，合家团圆。外婆和妈妈和着面，做着团子；外公，爸爸用金箔纸折成元宝；儿子带着心事穿梭在大人之间。家人之间聊着衣食住行，家长里短；聊着不联系的朋友，自相残杀的鸽子，修复的瓷器。团子皮破，元宝化成灰，锔过的瓷器愈加易碎。

这是一部过程电影。在连续的一天里，在不停歇的家务中，一个家庭分裂，修复，和好如初，又再次崩溃。就像锔瓷这门传统手艺一样，家庭的碎片被锔钉紧贴在一起，破碎又完整。

About the Film「Shards」

The Winter Solstice — a time for family reunion. Grandma and mother knead dough and make dumplings; grandpa and father fold gold foil into paper ingots. The son, preoccupied with his own thoughts, moves between the adults. Conversations flow — about food, clothing, daily routines, distant friends, pigeons tearing each other apart, and porcelain that’s been repaired. The dumpling skins break. The ingots turn to ash. And the repaired porcelain grows ever more fragile.

This is a film of process. Over the course of a single day, through the unceasing rhythm of housework, a family splits, reconciles, breaks again, and tries once more to mend. Like the traditional craft of repairing broken porcelain with staples, the shards of family life are held together — broken, yet whole.
