About the Film「Chengzi_1」
A small-town girl, Chen Ziyi, comes to Shanghai to study makeup and styling. By a twist of fate, she gets introduced to the world of social media by a content creator she admires — and unexpectedly rises to fame. As she sprints down the path of chasing traffic and popularity, tensions flare between her and other influencers. In their attempts to control the flow of attention, they ultimately find themselves consumed by it.
