About the documentary
A group of young people got away from their hometowns to Beijing to ful ll their dreams, in Beijing they lived together and played Rock and Roll. Life made them confused, and they tried to escape from the reality more than ever, nally they were addicted to drugs. After that their lives became more and more chaotic, they would learn the lesson from the unsettled lives.

Living in Beijing since 1993, Zhao has been working as an independent documentary filmmaker as well as a multimedia artist in photography and video art. His films were premiered at Cannes, Venezia, Berlinale; art works being exhibited at the International Center of Photography (New York), Walker Art Center (Minneapolis), Haus der Kullturen der Welt (Berlin), Sala Grande Venezia (Venice), Museo Reina Sofía (Madrid) and numerous film festivals, art galleries and museums worldwide.

赵亮导演这部纪录片锁定怪异的朋克音乐人！
导演的摄影机随着他们的日常生活一路跟拍——来到北京的街头，跟着他们回家，去到不同的拘留所。
这是一群带着暖昧的生活价值观，不清楚自己究竟为何而活、为何而战的彷徨年轻人，药物才是他们生活里唯一永恒的确据。
作者用冷静、平等的态度记录了这群年轻人的生活经历，既无谴责，也并非猎奇。他只是直面了这群社会边缘年轻人的存在。

导演简介
赵亮，1971年出生于辽宁省，中国内地导演、编剧、摄影师、制作人，先后毕业于鲁迅美术学院、北京电影学院。
1995年，执导个人首部纪录片《告别圆明园》 。1996年，赵亮因对上访人的状态感兴趣而开始拍摄了纪录片《上访》，其后坚持了12年，直到2008年北京奥运会后完成拍摄，该片获得夏威夷电影节最佳纪录片奖 、香港国际电影节最佳纪录片人道奖。2001年，执导纪录片《纸飞机》，该片获得第3届台湾国际纪录片双年展国际影带竞赛优等奖。2004年，执导纪录片《城市场景》，该片获得德国卡塞尔纪录和录象艺术节金钥匙奖、德国奥本豪森国际短片电影节评审团大奖。2007年，执导纪录片《罪与罚》，该片获得法国南特三大洲国际电影节金气球奖 。2010年，执导纪录片《在一起》，该片获得第6届中国独立纪录片交流周独立精神奖 。2015年，执导纪录片《BEHEMOTH》，该片为2015年华语唯一一部入围威尼斯电影节的作品，也是亚洲纪录片首次入围威尼斯主竞赛单元的作品。2018年，执导纪录片《孤寂的声音》。2019年，担任纪录片《中国孩子》的制作人。
